GPLS 699 Translational Medicine Rotation

This intensive hands-on course provides students with training in medical
assessment and documentation with structured implementation in the clinical
setting. Students work closely with patients and practicing physicians while
solidifying their familiarity with the daily workflow of clinical settings. Students will
gain direct exposure to patient-physician interactions in key medical departments
under direct supervision of clinically licensed professionals. Students typically
complete outpatient clinical rotations in two different specialty clinics. Clinical
rotations usually last six to eight weeks and are graded pass/fail.
