GPLS 692 CURRENT TOPICS IN GENETICS AND GENOMICS
This course covers a range of important concepts in genomic science that complement the general discussion in GPLS 601. These topics include introductions to microbial genomics, human genetics and genomics, evolutionary biology, genetic epidemiology, bioinformatics, variant discovery, and sequencing technologies. The course is taught as a tour through various research programs on campus highlighting many new and exciting areas of genomic research.
