PTRS 688 SPECIAL TOPICS IN PHYSICAL REHABILITATION SCIENCE
Special topic listings are graduate level special interest courses developed by faculty members of the PhD program in physical rehabilitation science. Topics regularly include Foundations of Rehabilitation Science (FRS) I and II, which cover literature on contemporary issues and research methods pertaining to key topics in the field of movement and rehabilitation science. Theoretical, biological, physical, behavioral, and computational approaches to understanding the control of movement in the context of rehabilitation are explored. Applications are made to the analysis of common disorders of movement control that impair function and to contemporary therapeutic approaches used in rehabilitation.
