PTRS 616 APPLIED TECHNOLOGY IN HUMAN MOVEMENT ANALYSIS II
This course is an extension of
PTRS 615 Applied Technology I and continues to introduce students to collecting and processing data related to human movement. Students will gain experience using data acquisition and signal processing systems that are common in many movement and rehabilitation science laboratories. Data sources will include force platform, VICON Motion Capture System and Nexus 2 software, Visual 3D processing software, Biodex, and GaitRite. The overall goal of this course is to provide students with the necessary fundamental skills to design and run a successful experiment, troubleshoot errors, and produce high-quality data sets.
