HPE 670 LEADERSHIP THEORY
Effective leadership is a necessary and critical aspect in the success of any organization. This course explores various leadership models that have been developed from both a theoretical and practical perspective. Through an examination of various theories and approaches to leadership, students will identify the key principles, competencies, and characteristics of effective leaders and integrate these concepts into a personal leader efficacy plan. Students will draw upon multiple leadership paradigms and perspectives to improve their practices as leaders. Common leadership issues and dilemmas will be examined through case studies of real-world scenarios.
