CIPP 621 AGING IN PLACE INTERPROFESSIONAL CARE IN GERIATRICS
This course presents a unique Interprofessional opportunity that expands beyond a one-day IPE activity. Students from various UM professional schools have the opportunity to assess the needs of older adults through a hybrid learning opportunity. Students learn about interprofessional care of older adults that includes a clinical focus, real world billing, and facilitation of access to care. In addition, students provide hands-on work with older residents in a local, senior housing facility with the goal of helping these individuals to age-in-place.
