MHS 603 SCIENCE COMMUNICATION PRINCIPLES
This course provides an introduction to science communication as a field of research and practice as well as an overview of key principles and strategies of science communication by exploring common approaches to communicating science to various audiences. Students will review principles and strategies of effective science communication, both through analyzing existing forms of science communication and through applying these principles in their own communication practice. Students will be creating two major assignments throughout the class in several stages and revising them based on instructor and peer feedback to add to their science communication portfolio.
