GERO 797 CAPSTONE IN GERONTOLOGY
The capstone course is a supervised gerontology learning experience and a demonstration of the substantive application of the knowledge and skills that have been acquired in the courses taken as part of the M.S. in Gerontology. It is an opportunity to demonstrate an understanding of how gerontology integrates with areas of a selected concentration (or areas of professional or personal interest, if the student did not select an area of concentration). Under the guidance of the Course Advisor, students must demonstrate in their project that they meet the educational objectives of the Gerontology Program AND apply at least two of the concentration area objectives to a practical challenge.
