PREV 730 INTRO TO R STATISTICAL ANALYSIS

This course introduces R software with an emphasis on using R for descriptive data analysis. Students will primarily use base R to manipulate, describe, and graph data and to assess bivariate relations. They will learn how to use R functions to conduct data analysis as well as how to write their own functions. Concepts will be introduced in lectures followed by lab sessions where students will gain hands-on experience by conducting analyses of existing datasets.
