This course is designed as an applied statistics course, in which the class will move beyond abstract theoretical discussions and focus on the applications of statistical theory and practice to realworld analysis using appropriate statistical software, and the reporting of findings to audiences of researchers and laypersons. Conducting research ethically, from question and hypothesis formation to analysis and reporting, is emphasized. The course assumes students have a baseline (or greater) understanding of introductory statistics.  Prerequisite: Permission of instructor
