HPE 760 MIXED METHODS RESEARCH

This course will provide an overview of mixed methods research, with an emphasis on its application in the social science. This course will cover the foundations, principles, and procedures of designing and conducting mixed methods research, with a focus on how the single method (qualitative, quantitative) can be integrated and converged during each stage of the research process. The primary aim of this course is to develop student’s ability and skills to use this knowledge in designing their own mixed methods study. This course is best suited for students with a basic (or greater) understanding of quantitative and qualitative methods.
