SOWK 827 EPIDEMIOLOGY AND BEHAVIORAL RESEARCH
This course provides advanced research training to complete significant studies on behavioral/mental health problems utilizing existing datasets, along with a comprehensive review of some of the most important issues related to drug use and mental health problems in the US. This is a graduate course specifically designed to provide doctoral students with an opportunity to generate new research-based insights and review solutions to health disparities and hazards associated with behavioral/mental health issues, with particular emphasis on Social Work and public health. Prerequisites:
SOWK 804, 805, 806, 807; or instructor permission.
